No Access, No Title 5

There will be no picture with this blog due to some bad planning by a builder, septic installer and engineer. We had a title 5 inspection scheduled today on a 3 year old home, and much to my surprise the distribution box and half of the leaching field was installed under a blacktop driveway. Now there are two options we have in order to complete the title 5 inspection. 1.  cut the driveway and install a riser and a steel man hole cover or 2. send a specialized camera down the septic tank outlet pipe and view the d-box. Unfortunately both will cost the homeowner an extra fee, but the camera will be the cheaper alternative.
